1. Overview
Livin LLC ("LIVIN," "we," "us") operates LIVIN OS: a family of connected web apps reachable from livin.solutions, covering faith, health, wealth, learning, security, and business tools. This policy explains what personal data we collect across that family of apps, why, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
This policy is written to describe what our systems actually do, app by app, rather than using one generic statement for all of them — the apps differ a lot in what data they touch, and we think you should be able to see that plainly.
2. Data we collect

3. What each app does with your data
Where an app sends your content to a third-party AI provider for processing, we say so explicitly — see Section 5 for who that provider is.
Nutrition + Cooking
Meal photos, your optional note, and your meal-plan details (goal, age, weight, gender, dietary restrictions) are sent directly to our AI provider to generate an estimate or plan and are not stored on our servers — we don't keep a copy of your photos or plan requests after the response is returned to your browser. Saved grocery lists live only in your browser's local storage on your own device.
LIVIN Vault
See Section 4 — this is the one app on the platform where we have deliberately built things so that we cannot read your data even if we wanted to.
Tax + Wealth Prep
Your entries, uploaded documents, and generated checklists are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device — we do not transmit or store this data on our servers, except for the specific text you submit when asking the AI assistant to generate a checklist, which is sent to our AI provider to generate a response and is not retained by us afterward.
AI Life Coach, Bible Study, Language Coach, Academy Mentor Chat
Your messages and questions are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Habit-tracking, journaling, and progress data you save is stored in your browser's local storage on your device unless a specific feature states otherwise.
Trading Education
Your account, subscription status, and subscription period dates are stored in our database so we can verify your access. Course progress may be stored locally in your browser.
Business Receptionist
Current status: demo/preview. The chat-based demo stores captured leads only in your browser's local storage. The always-on voice phone agent described in our marketing is not yet live; when it launches, this policy will be updated before it processes any real caller data, and a separate Data Processing Agreement will govern that relationship for business customers (see our DPA).
Gig Hotspots
If you grant location access, your coarse location is used to fetch local weather forecasts and generate a demand-timing summary. Saved preferences and event notes are stored in your browser's local storage.
375 AI Prompts, Gear Collection, CounterOffer
These involve a one-time purchase via Stripe and, for CounterOffer, an AI-drafted negotiation message based on the offer details you provide, which is sent to our AI provider to generate a response and is not retained by us afterward.
4. A special note on LIVIN Vault
LIVIN Vault is built as a zero-knowledge, end-to-end encrypted password manager. In plain terms: your master password never leaves your browser. It's used locally to derive an encryption key (via PBKDF2 with 250,000 iterations), which encrypts your vault contents (via AES-256-GCM) before anything is sent to our servers. We store only the resulting ciphertext — we cannot decrypt it, we do not have your master password, and we have no technical ability to read your saved logins or notes, including in response to a legal request, unless you provide your master password or recovery key yourself.
This also means: if you lose both your master password and your recovery key, we cannot recover your vault contents for you. There is no backdoor, on purpose.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers necessary to run LIVIN OS, and only the data each one needs to do its job:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
6. International transfers
LIVIN OS is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on standard contractual safeguards with our providers for these transfers.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data: kept while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure.
- Payment records: kept as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years), handled by Stripe on our behalf.
- AI-processed content (photos, chat messages, questions): not retained by us after the response is generated, subject to our AI provider's own short-term processing logs per their policy.
- Vault contents: kept encrypted until you delete an entry or close your account.
- Locally-stored data (grocery lists, tax entries, habit logs): stays on your device until you clear it or your browser storage is cleared; we have no copy.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in Section 13. For data stored only in your own browser (most of the platform), you already have full control — clearing your browser storage deletes it immediately, on your side, with nothing left on ours.
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all apps, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, row-level security on our database so accounts can only access their own data, and true end-to-end encryption for LIVIN Vault as described above. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
LIVIN OS is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies and local storage
We use minimal cookies for authentication sessions. We use your browser's local storage extensively and deliberately — as described throughout Section 3 — to keep data on your device rather than on our servers wherever the feature allows it. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LIVIN OS changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide more prominent notice (such as an in-app banner).
